Beyond Laughter: The Book
Beyond Laughter
Rediscovering Presence, Connection & Joy in an Age of Seriousness
Why This Book?
We live in an age of increasing stress, distraction and disconnection. While laughter has long been recognised as beneficial, Beyond Laughter explores a deeper question: What happens after we laugh?
Drawing on decades of professional experience and doctoral research into laughter as therapy, Dr Martin Combrinck (PhD) introduces Integral Laughter Therapy (ILT) – a whole-person approach that combines laughter with awareness, relaxation, reflection, meditation, visualisation and daily practice to support lasting wellbeing.
More than a book about laughter, Beyond Laughter is an invitation to rediscover presence, strengthen relationships, build resilience and live with greater joy and purpose.
